flexible
Flexible electronics, also known as flex circuits, is a technology for assembling electronic circuits by mounting electronic devices on flexible plastic substrates, such as polyimide, PEEK or transparent conductive polyester film. Additionally, flex circuits can be screen printed silver circuits on polyester. Flexible electronic assemblies may be manufactured using identical components used for rigid printed circuit boards, allowing the board to conform to a desired shape, or to flex during its use.
Hello,
I'm replacing my hot water tap, but only now I realized that the hose nut is bigger than the tap connector
I'd like to remove the old flexible but I do not know what I have to loosen
Can I keep the old flexible pipe(I know it looks orrible)and buy an extension+adaptor??
The new tap is a...
Hi - apologies for the stupid question but really struggling to find the right answer (I'm a novice as you'll see).
New kitchen tap fitted with 2 flexible tap connectors. The ends (which connect to the incoming pipework) have a diameter of 22mm and have female connections.
I need to connect...
Hello All,
A couple of years back I attended one of the phex exhibitions in Ally pally north London. There I came across a stand that were promoting flexible boiler pipe connections, flow, return, hot, cold, and gas.
For the life of me I can not remember the product name of manufacturer.
Has...
Are the 3m straight lengths of 22mm pipe as flexible as the coiled pipe e.g. can I take it around corners without adding 90 degree elbows?
The shortest coil of 22mm Hep2o barrier pipe is 25m long which is much more than I need.
Can someone recommend a go quality flexible tap connector for a bath 3/4 Bsp and would it be advisable to go for a full bore connector.
Water is supplied from direct invented tank

Anybody have experience of using this pipe which I gather is quite new. Am considering it as need to fit a rad and the pipework will need tight bends but also to be a bit flexible to get it in position.
I have often read that you cannot connect a hob with a flexible connection under Gas Safe rules and regs. I was also told this by my gas fitter. Just in case you are not aware there is now a way, albeit a "semi-rigid" pipe, but to all intense and purposes it is a flexible. See Screwfix part...
Does anyone know of a controller that will handle the following crazy setup?
Currently, boiler with two circuits, one rads the other indirect hot water. Both circuits independently pumped with no 2-port valves, no cylinder stat, no room stat, no controller. Was old gravity HW, with pump added...
My understanding is these don't provide elec continuity.
But which part of them breaks the continuity? And do all of them fail to provide it or will some do so?
Thanks
Got to plumb up a vanity unit to a 110 stack which is the other side of a wall hung toilet frame.
There is enough clearance for a 32mm waste pipe to run between the back of the frame and the wall but its not a straight line. Can be done with some difficulty with a couple of push fit 135 deg...
Hi, I am new to this forum and looking for some help. So thanks in advance for any advice given.
2 years ago we renovated a house in France and fitted a number of new bathrooms. In all the bathrooms we used Burlington Bathrooms taps for the baths and basins and used the flexible tap connectors...
Hi all, I've got to change the taps for our small bathroom basin, the pipework comes through the wall and up to the taps, and is quite short. Is there an option to fit flexible hose as the shortest I could find is 300mm, which would mean it would have to have a coil in it, if it is flexible...
Hello all, I am trying to find a longer flexi hose and have tried all of the usual suspects including the internet but can only find 300mm long.
Does anyone know if these are are available and if so where I can get them please?
Thanks
Andrew

Noticed my boiler pressure was low (zero) yesterday. New house and it was ok when moved in, so presume there's a leak somewhere...
Anyway I've previously had no trouble on other boilers just turning the black taps to fill the system via the filling loop.
However, yesterday when I tried this...
Hi folks,
I have a standard flexible hose (the braided ones) coming off my cold and hot feed to the kitchen taps, and also one to the outside tap. I'm curious... do these need to be the flexible hose? Why not just a flexi plastic pipe with some speedy fittings? Does anything gong to a tap need...
Hi guys
My daughter has bought a flat with gas central heating. The radiators have what look like flexible water pipes rather than the usual solid pipes. Is this because it is a flat? (10 years old) I've not seen anything like them before. Can a towel rail be fitted to replace the radiator in...

Hello,
I have very little knowledge of plumbing and I stupidly bought a Grohe mixer tap from Amazon to replace an existing bathroom tap, link is here: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00WBIH962/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
The flexi hoses it comes with are of a size that...
Hi,
I am trying to install a new basin, and have just realised that that the bottle trap is offset from the basins waste outlet. This is because the pipework had been previously made to fit the old basin.
I'd say that the length I need from the basins waste to the bottle trap is about 6-7...
Hi, i'm trying to connect my bath taps but need some advice on length of flexi pipe. Is it buy longer ones and bend like i have in my pictures, or get some smaller ones?
My worry is that if i buy smaller ones because they are 22mm they won't bend onto the tap threads because its pretty stiff...
Advice would be very much appreciated.
We have a tiled-in concealed cistern and a floating toilet pan (wall-hung). The concealed cistern and wall frame inside the tiles are fine, but we may need to replace the pan, because it's almost impossible to reach the nuts that secure it to the wall...
