The Sun Sentinel (also known as the South Florida Sun Sentinel, known until 2008 as the Sun-Sentinel, and stylized on its masthead as SunSentinel) is the main daily newspaper of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, as well as surrounding Broward County and southern Palm Beach County. It circulates all throughout the three counties that comprise South Florida. It is the largest-circulation newspaper in the area.Paul Pham has held the position of general manager since November 2020 and Julie Anderson has held the position of editor-in-chief since February 2018.The newspaper was for many years branded as the Sun-Sentinel, with a hyphen, until a redesign and rebranding on August 17, 2008. The new look also removed the space between "Sun" and "Sentinel" in the newspaper's flag, but its name retained the space.
The Sun Sentinel is owned by parent company, Tribune Publishing. This company was acquired by Alden Global Capital, which operates its media properties through Digital First Media, in May 2021.
I need to add some Sentinel cleaner to my system, I have a combi boiler. I know I have to add it to a radiator, can this be any radiator & when emptying the radiator do I empty until there's no more water coming out from the valve at the bottom? Do I have to bleed any other rads? I would just...
Morning all,
I've recently cleaned my F&E, microbore central heating system using Sentinel X400 and this led to the cold rads heating up again, so a success in that respect*. Now, after a week of the X400 circulating, today I cleaned the F&E tank again (much cleaner water), drained down the...
Hello,
I’ve got a build up of sludge in my system so wanted to run a cleaner through. I have a magnaclean fitted so was hoping to add Sentinel X400 to the system and leave it in indefinitely - just cleaning the magnaclean weekly for a few weeks until it runs clean rather than draining/refilling...

Where is the cheapest place to get Sentinel x100 from?
How often should it be replaced/renewed?
Also looking for the cheapest place to get the test kits.
Needed for a three bedroom home with 13 radiators.
Thanks to any willing to help.
If it...
This thread is aimed at exploring members experiences, thinking and reflections - in the area of choosing and servicing CH filters (Magnaclean, Fernox etc).
I think there are many people that need help in selecting a filter that is worth choosing over the long term, but I also hope to open the...
Hi there,
I normally use Sentinel x100 for replenishing central heating inhibitor, a bit pricey however I have seen a product called sure graft at plumbase, just wondering what people think to it.
Looking at the state of some of the central heating contents I have drained down recently...
Hi all,
I am about to refill my system, after some Rad' replacements/movements, as my boiler has started to get a little bit noisy I was planning to dose with sentinel but as posted earlier i have used speedfit/plastic pipe where i needed to run new pipework and am unsure whether the Sentinel is...
am about to refill my system after a couple of rad changes/movements as mentioned on another post i have used speedfit pipe and fittings where i have run new pipe. I was planning to dose the system with sentinel x200 as boiler had started to get noisy, but am unsure whether this will affect the...
Does anybody use these?
the sentinel rep gave me a really good pitch on these against a magnaclean it it got me thinking.
They look ok although can't be split like a magnaclean so can't dose through them either, just wondered if anyone was using them and can review?
Anyone used wickes own brand rapid dose inhibitor yet? looks identical to the aqueous logic stuff and the sentinel but less than half the price and says it does the same number of rads on the tin.

My Mother had her microbore system powerflushed a couple of years ago by "Powerflush Ltd" ,who did a marvelous job of cleaning out 40 years worh of sludge and got all her rads working again. The guy who did it, was honest enough to warn us that due to the microbore system having such stupidly...
On a job this morning the customer was adamant that the gas engineer did not put back any X100 that she was charged for. 2 bottles worth as its a big system. I checked the F&E tank for stickers and also the boiler but didn't see any evidence that its in there. Any other way I can check?? I...
Hi all :),my mum had a new ideal boiler fitted about 6 years ago, she had quite a few problems with it since installed, one of which was a new heat exchange fitted, any way they supposedly flushed the system when installing it :/ but now most of the rads are warm at top and cold at bottom which...

I hired a powerflush unit from FKS for £72 the week and the X800 was £18.99, x100 £16.99 (plus vat).
Plumbfix was £9.99 for X100 and £13.50 for X800!!!
This morning I started my first power flush. 13 rad house, some downstairs rads have huge cold spots in the middle - in fact easier to say they had small warm spots on the ends. The 2 main culprits are an 1800x500 double rad and a 2250x500 double.
Its a Sentinel Flush4 machine and am using...
