rails
Ruby on Rails, or Rails, is a server-side web application framework written in Ruby under the MIT License. Rails is a model–view–controller (MVC) framework, providing default structures for a database, a web service, and web pages. It encourages and facilitates the use of web standards such as JSON or XML for data transfer and HTML, CSS and JavaScript for user interfacing. In addition to MVC, Rails emphasizes the use of other well-known software engineering patterns and paradigms, including convention over configuration (CoC), don't repeat yourself (DRY), and the active record pattern.Ruby on Rails' emergence in 2005 greatly influenced web app development, through innovative features such as seamless database table creations, migrations, and scaffolding of views to enable rapid application development. Ruby on Rails' influence on other web frameworks remains apparent today, with many frameworks in other languages borrowing its ideas, including Django in Python; Catalyst in Perl; Laravel, CakePHP and Yii in PHP; Grails in Groovy; Phoenix in Elixir; Play in Scala; and Sails.js in Node.js.
Well-known sites that use Ruby on Rails include Airbnb, Bloomberg, Crunchbase, Dribbble, and GitHub.
Hi I am in late stages of new build to retire to so looking at all the ways of keeping running costs down. I am using tradesmen and labouring myself. Originally I thought that my towel rails for bathroom and ensuite would be run on underfloor heating, but I have learnt this week that that is not...
Hoping someone will be able to explain this to me. I've been looking at towel rails for a bathroom refit, and I noticed that chrome radiators give out less heat than the equivalent painted steel rad. To give an example taken at random from a brochure, where the painted rad gives 797 watts, the...

Hi,
Does anyone know where I can buy brass towel rails from? I have heard I can get ones that look modern but are brass inside. They are to be plumbed into the HWS secondary circ in a large house running on biomass
Or I guess any other rail that won't corrode?
Many thanks
Tom
Is it ok to leave element running even when the ch system is on or is it better to turn of the ch system?
Got a call from a customer claiming the rad got scorching hot at the top

I have a recently had a new bathroom fitted with a 6' towel rail. The rail has never heated up. Our heating is a one pipe system. I have tried closing down all the other radiators in the system to force the flow, but to no avail. Now the plumber who installed the bathroom tells me that towel...

Hi all,
what is the best choice of valves for centrally heated towel rails these days? I've read manual valves are better than thermostatic somewhere, but that may be out-dated advice. Is there a specific reason not to use thermostatic, as they should save energy?
aside from that, whilst the...

Hi everyone,
I"m changing my bathroom radiator for a towel rail and it would be easier to couple it up using flexible braided couplings, the type you use for basin and bath taps,is it ok to use these on central heating systems?
