rails
Ruby on Rails, or Rails, is a server-side web application framework written in Ruby under the MIT License. Rails is a model–view–controller (MVC) framework, providing default structures for a database, a web service, and web pages. It encourages and facilitates the use of web standards such as JSON or XML for data transfer and HTML, CSS and JavaScript for user interfacing. In addition to MVC, Rails emphasizes the use of other well-known software engineering patterns and paradigms, including convention over configuration (CoC), don't repeat yourself (DRY), and the active record pattern.Ruby on Rails' emergence in 2005 greatly influenced web app development, through innovative features such as seamless database table creations, migrations, and scaffolding of views to enable rapid application development. Ruby on Rails' influence on other web frameworks remains apparent today, with many frameworks in other languages borrowing its ideas, including Django in Python; Catalyst in Perl; Laravel, CakePHP and Yii in PHP; Grails in Groovy; Phoenix in Elixir; Play in Scala; and Sails.js in Node.js.
Well-known sites that use Ruby on Rails include Airbnb, Bloomberg, Crunchbase, Dribbble, and GitHub.
Hi folks
Trying to choose a bath mixer shower... I've found some I like, but I don't tend to like the slider rails from the same brand.
My favourites are these:

Good morning and hello.
I wonder if anyone can assist.
For many years our heated towel rails have been running when either the CH or HW is running, so when the CH is off the towel rail will get warm, and similarly when the HW is off the towel rail still gets warm.
Now having had some work done...
Is it normal to plumb Towel Rails into a pressurised water system, running the Towel Rails off this water supply, or do the Towel Rails have to be run in tandem with the Central Heating?
Hi all,
One of my friends has a 3yr old house with normal rads in the bathrooms & cloakroom which she would like to replace with towel rads.
It was built by Taylor Wimpey and the plasterboard walls are paper thin (9.5mm board I think or similar) so not the best.
She has the normal 10mm...

Hello
Does anyone know if a radiator/towel rail will work on a single pipe system if it is installed below the pipe work? I.e. if the pipe work is higher than the top of the radiator.

HI
I have a client who wants a large towel (approx 500mm X 850mm) rail fitted onto a plasterboard stud wall. I am only concerned about the weight. I have used Gripit fixings before and they seem ok but can anyone recommend anything even more secure.
I guess I could batten it but has anyone...
I've just received a tender document for a major refurb and the architects specification calls for the towel rails to be installed on the DHW cylinder primaries. (Fully pumped, unvented heating system)
This used to be common practice a few years back, - I can't find any reference to whether it...
Hi All,
Any of you fitted a towel warmer to a hot water secondary circuit? I'd imagine they'd have to be specifically made for the purpose, not all towel warmers will be suitable because of the corrosive effect of the 'fresh' water yeh?
I'm considering this for my own place but, to be honest...
I'm planning a bathroom remodel and wanted to replace my existing bathroom rad (will be too small and cast iron) with a towel rail and worked out I need something in the region of 1200w, am I being dense the largest towel rail I can find is only half that power rating? For the space I have...
A friend of mine bought a towel rail from B&Q which i installed today for him which inolved removing old rad etc etc .Anyhows upon refilling system one of the welds as usual sprang a leak so he phoned B&Q and told them the issue so off we go to get another towel rail .When we are in the store...
I'm sure I've read somewhere that mild steel towel rails are unsuitable for an unvented system due to the absence of corrosion inhibitor. If this is the case is there any reason not to fit one and tip a bottle in the rail before filling?
If anyone can point me to a link for more info it would be...
Does anyone on here no the reason why you dont put towel rails on ho****er side of the system anymore ?? i know was once upon a time it was common practice but am going to price a job up and towel rails are on the hw circuit on spec and i'm sure that there is a reason for not doing this practice...
Please could someone give me some advice on this install I am doing.
The first picture shows the tank above the cylinder, this seems to be seperated, there are 2 ballvalves. I assumed one would be for the heating and the other was the cws tank. I drained the rads and the left hand side tank...
