renovation
Renovation (also called remodeling) is the process of improving a broken, damaged, or outdated structure. Renovations are typically either commercial or residential. Additionally, renovation can refer to making something new, or bringing something back to life and can apply in social contexts. For example, a community can be renovated if it is strengthened and revived.
Hi, I have installed a Ground Source Heat Pump connected to a 120l accumulator in a renovation project.
The accumulator is in turn connected to the original radiators which are 2x oversize at 40C MWT with TRVs, utilising an Alpha 2 15/50 pump set to adaptive setting 2 (for rads)
There is a...

I'm currently renovating a property and would like some views on appropriate water ufh spec.
Downstairs is a max of 63m2 downstairs on a solid floor over 100mm insulation. This equates to 4 zones but kitchen large enough to require a second circuit so this could go to 5. Probably polished...

I've got an Ideal Standard Alto bath to fit into our bathroom which has a wooden frame built in made of what looks like 2x1". The instructions say to use the L brackets on the long side to keep it tucked up against the wall and to use the feet for support.
I've seen several people discussing...

Hi,
I hope someone can offer some advice regarding a drainage problem. A bit of background: I own a ground floor flat, which I lived in between 1998 and 2004. During that time, I had no problems at all with the plumbing or the drainage.
In 2004, I moved out, and began renting out the flat...

Hey,
I've been asked to do a renovation job where they want the new boiler and unvented to go in the basement. My issue on having them down there is gettin the prv/trv pipework to the outside. Is there a way it can be done?
I guess there's no real way to ensure that someone has the means to pay before you start travelling to them, but have any of you guys had the "Oh damn, I forgot to draw some money out of the cashpoint, can you call back in a few days" or words to the same extent? If so, how did you handle it?
