regin
In Norse mythology, Reginn (Old Norse: ᚱᛁᚼᛁᚾ/ᚱᛁᚽᛁᚿ [ˈreɣenː]; often anglicized as Regin or Regan) is a son of Hreiðmarr and the foster father of Sigurd. His brothers are Fafnir and Ótr.
Need a new U gauge...
Is the Regin one with the blue liquid worth the money?
Any others that people like?
The ones that stand up on their own look handy but maybe not when in a tight space. Anyone have experience with these?
Dave
I've got the Regin pressure vessel pump, brilliant bit of kit but I managed to lose the little knurled bit that you tighten onto the valve and the rubber bit inside it. I contacted Regin to ask if the bits were available as spares and they sent them out to me free. I've always liked Regin stuff...
Regxa1 fga two years old I think, no more than three anyway. Re calibration due 8/5/13, open to sensible offers. Will keep a a spare if no reasonable bid. I'm not putting it on eBay or anywhere else.
Selling my regin premier manometer like the picture.
Cost me £70 in september. Still has plenty of the special blue liquid for clearer readings left in it.
Also coming with a case. In immaculate condition.
Willing to listen to offers and paypal only.
Going to put it up on ebay in next few days...
Hi,
Anyone recommend the best tool / method for checking and recharging expansion vessels - mainly in a domestic, boiler servicing capacity?
Ive been trying to locate the bosch PAG12v which has a digi display but cant find anywhere
Then theres the rothenburger cordless pump but doesn't have...
You guys use these? Heard their handy for open vented systems, say for changing a rad valve since they create a vacuum so you can work on the system to do a repair.
Plus you less likely to get damn air locks!!
Ill post a pic of the kit.
Help, help, help
Please can anybody either scan a few pages from their REGX1A instruction manual (to [email protected]) so that I can measure CO2 by volume as a % or if it can be explained in a couple of sentences; that would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Hi, I am after a basic FGA for new boiler commissioning and service work. I can get a Regin REGXA1 one click for £198+ vat, I know it's a cheap unit but it's actually made buy Kane and since the unit came out re-calibration has been only £59+vat a year and every time they do this they put an...
Hi, Have just noticed my trusty Regin Premier 45 U-gauge is leaking but I can for the life of me find anywhere online that sells spare bits. Does anyone know of an online stockist for spare o-rings or rebuild kits as I dont think this warrents replacement yet.
Cheers :stooge_curly:
Sometime ago someone was asking whether these were any good.
Having had one since Jan 2011 i can definately say NO.
The idea and the cost are fine but mine after 4 or 5 uses now only decides to work when it feels like it.. rather like me actually..
Its under guarantee but I bought it from Mytub...

I've got myself some brushes for cleaning out heat exchangers etc. But what I'm after are the thin solid metal tools (a bit like those metal thickness gauges but longer) to poke down the tight gaps of heat exchangers in ideal icos' etc.
Any ideas where I can get these from?
