looks
Human physical appearance is the outward phenotype or look of human beings.
There are infinite variations in human phenotypes, though society reduces the variability to distinct categories. The physical appearance of humans, in particular those attributes which regarded as important for physical attractiveness, are believed by anthropologists to affect the development of personality significantly and social relations. Humans are acutely sensitive to their physical appearance. Some differences in human appearance are genetic, others are the result of age, lifestyle or disease, and many are the result of personal adornment.
Some people have linked some differences with ethnicity, such as skeletal shape, prognathism or elongated stride. Different cultures place different degrees of emphasis on physical appearance and its importance to social status and other phenomena.
Hi,
I've noticed a wet patch in my ceiling directly below where the boiler flue exits the roof space. I've attached a couple of photos of the flue because it looks as if there may be a specific tile missing.
The boiler is a Vaillant Ecotec plus 618. The Vaillant flue instructions references...

Concealed type to be replaced with standard close-coupled. Replaced about 3 toilets in my time but so far been lucky enough not to have to change anything on WC's connection to soil pipe run. I may not have to on this either, if the gap between cistern and wall is only a little. But if by chance...
Saw this today and thought it an unusual route for a soil pipe. Is this common practice? I'm assuming that they feed loft conversions. Hopefully the picture's clear enough! I'm just curious but thought it may spark some discussion!
Can you see the pictures above? They're coming up as attachment...

Hi, please can you help me?
I have an MFI toilet (make unknown) with the cistern enclosed inside a vanity unit. The cistern stopped refilling and I need to get into it to take a look.
But how on earth do you open these things??!!
The flush button is at the front. I took it off some time...
Was doing some handyman jobs for a client in London today. One of the problems related to a really bad smell coming from the area near washing machine in kitchen. This smell did not occur all the time, but when it did it was very, very strong. I checked that there were no obvious problems -...

Hi everyone,
Wondered if anyone could throw some light on my back boiler please?
We recently moved and we have a Baxi Bermuda 57/3M or 45/3M back boiler with 70's style gas fire.
A new box that covers the boiler had been fitted, but the boiler itself looks like something from a scrap...
Hi everyone, I recently started my own business and have no idea what to charge customers. I wanted to charge less than my old boss (i now live in a different town), who charged about £75 + VAT for call out and 1st hour, so have stared off by charging £65 (not vat registered). does this sound...
had a call back today for a sevice i done. the boiler i had deemed at risk because the compartment vent low level was only 76% of required size. however the customer refused me isolation permission, so i labelled it ect blah blah. shortly after british gas had been round to fit a meter and told...
A surprising statistic from the Telegraph: according to Department of Work and Pensions,1,135,580 of Britain’s 11 million pensions were paid into foreign bank accounts in August 2009. And that doesn't include those pensioners who have their pensions paid into UK bank accounts..
