Anyone know where I can get some washers for these taps . I have tried making my own but it failed after a few months. Tried all the places I can think of. SDC14279.jpg

Thanks

They look like standard taps, what did the old washers look like? I can't believe they're anything special...

by a nice big box of mixed washers for around a tenner and youll find the right ones

Probably 3/4" tap washers for that mixer. But some of those need thinner washers.

That kind of tap sometimes does not like having a new washer fitted. You fit them and everything's fine but in a few weeks they are all mangled mainly on the hot. You fit new washers and everything's fine and after another few weeks you get the call and you're like what the hell.

I have a certain customer who is OCD and can't understand that the bath filler spout will drip for a few seconds after the taps have been turned off but doesn't understand so she turns the taps down tighter and crushes the washers.

i've found that domed washers will cover most things., even irrespective of correct size

Quite obviously a good traditional bathroom appliance taps spares .
Google victorian tap spares! Bound to find something, as these things happen again and again.. go around and come around again and again..
Lolz or get a fake ... if it makes any sense.
Sure to find one in a scrap metal objects junk shops
They have tempting traditional value.
