Tradesman Saver - Anyone used em?

Just got my P/L insurance renewal through and as always, it's gone up even though not had a claim. Trawling through the tinterweb for a better quote, found this company Tradesman Saver Insurance. Got a quote for £2million P/L, free legal cover, £1500 tool cover for £95! Yes, £95 for year. Seems a bit too good to be true so I was wondering if anyone has had dealings with this company

Mine came up as £114 per annum which is one heck of a saving against Direct Line whom im with now. I intend to read the small print as Im a great believer in the adage "When something sounds to good to be true, that's because it usually is !"

Try corgi. Mines quotes cheap with them. It went up 78quid this year but I found it cheaper elsewhere and phoned them to cancel and they reverted back to the old price. They are all robbing gits, you just have to play them at their own game.

Make sure the policy includes hot work as many are exempt in the small print. Use a blow torch on a soldered fitting and your policy is void.

Further to earlier posts I have checked this company out and I am totally satisfied that they are legit and I cannot ignore the savings The normal 2 million cover.100.000 legal and personal accident cover plus 2k of tool cover @ £97.80per annum.

So on the back of this thread I will be swapping my insurance from Direct Line to Trade Saver and saving £200 per anuum in the process.

Can't remember who I'm with now, but there's a £500 excess for tools cover, which doubles with every claim. Read the disclaimers and exclusions carefully before signing up!

I tried them, they couldn't come anywhere near Tradesman saver !

Just got myself 2m liability with these including £1,500 tool cover for £125.00. Hooray, now I can burn a house down!! Accidentally of course. I think it's a pretty good price seeing as it's my first time insured as a business.

Just read the policy wording, does not cover hot works.
