Hi.
Could someone tell me how to remove the AAV on a Vaillant ecoMAX 828/2 E pls?

Many thanks

Using your skilz!

Check the manual, they usually have it listed in the back.

Thanks. Any tips on correct tool to use to remove it. Seems to be a very narrow gap for a spanner.

you call that narrow??????????????????????? try working on a worcester theres loads of room there

A spanner is too thick to get under the housing. Do you use a specialised tool?

Would you just use the grips on the housing itself. There appears to be a nut underneath but cant get in there.

Hi An idiot Bathroom fitter has cut down a soil pipe and fitted an AAV valve, then placed a built in bathroom cabinet with the soil pipe in the corner unit making the only easy way to access anywhere near the soil pipe by reaching up from where the kicker board goes. You can see from the photo...

I'm installing a new bathroom. I have a combined drain for the bath and shower (2 x 40mm >> 50mm >> stack) and have a McAlpine VP2 AAV to fit under the bath to avoid syphoning of the shower trap. Is this type of AAV correct and how high does it have to be above the bath/shower traps? Thank you.
