I've bought a Kaldewei contract bath. The grips are thin, don't fit well, and enamel has flaked off around the fixing holes after only a few days. So it's going back, but what should I go for instead? I realise that I probably need to spend more.

I had to change a 3/4 inch rad valve today and the tail had 2 grooves instead of a hex key.
Is there a specific tool for these tails as I had to borrow another guys makeshift tool to get it out

I have trouble with reviving a leaky tap. the tap head just wouldn't come off with an adjustable wrench. (It slips off the wrench.) Would a Ring Spanner be of more help?? What are the other things I can try?
