tiger loop
Saber Tiger (Japanese: サーベル・タイガー, Hepburn: Saberu Taiga) is a Japanese heavy metal band from Sapporo. It was founded in 1981 by guitarist and sole-constant member Akihito Kinoshita - as well as two other musicians - who is responsible for producing, engineering and composing most of the band's work.
My ageing tiger loop could do with replacing. All I can find online have horizontal connections whereas mine has the connections vertically the pipes coming in from below. I was hoping I could get a straight swap unit. Will i need to alter my pipework as well then?
Hi all.
We have just had a new oil system installed including an external Tiger loop. I see that the 'new' Tiger loops are now a complete metal unit (as opposed to the previous plastic dome).
My question is - In the depths of UK Winter, may it be necessary for me to cover the Tiger loop to...
Client ran out of oil. Locked out. Has Grant eco ext. wall boiler 1.3 mtrs off ground. Tiger loop on wall same height as burner. Tank 4mtrs away on ground. 10mm copper suction line.
I went round. It never restarted via reset button so bled a bit from pump and Ok. Pump was a bit winey and...
Tiger Loop not filling, oil is coming up through the pipes but not circulating through to loop, put pipe into a tank of kerosine and we have heat. Please can anyone help
Hi, oil ran out in June, got it refilled last week. I noticed the Afriso de-aerator did not fill up after pressing the burner reset button like it always has done. The installation is 18 years old.
I suspected the Teddington fire valve and the inline oil filter, however I was able to pump 1.5...
I had a tiger loop installed on my Becket burner oil fuel line. It is Afriso older design with the bleeder value on the top which blows out the air. The problem is that the more the burner runs the higher the oil level in the tiger loop goes. Eventually the oil gets too high and starts to flow...

Right ok so I went to go see a customer today, their oil boiler (worcester heatslave) keeps locking out.
Problem > no fuel
Now their oil tank is situated lower than their boiler.
They have a tiger loop that is roughly at the height of the top of the tank perhaps a bit higher
The oil Level in...
Hi all, went to turn my OFCH on and it didn't fire up. Had a look in boiler house and noticed the Tiger Loop was filled right to the top. I can remember looking at it before and there was only a small amount of oil in the bottom, but now it is filled to the top.
With another look at it, it...
Our burner locks out. The oil flow coming into the tiger loop appears too slow to keep up with pump demand and so it runs out. If left for a few minutes the oil level in the tiger loop builds up and allows the boiler to fire again but only for a few minutes. This occurred for the first time 4...

Hi All
I am getting condensation in the glass dome of my tiger loop.
Is the normal or does it indicate a problem?
I thought the tiger loop just sucked the oil through and took out any air.
Thanks.

Hi All
I have an oil fired heating system which has been a constant problem for the last 2 years. Basically the problem has been muck and water getting into the bunded tank somehow. This has resulted in us having to change the oil pump in the boiler about 5 times to date.
We now have a...
