adjustable
An adjustable spanner (UK and most other English-speaking countries) or adjustable wrench (US and Canada) is any of various styles of spanner (wrench) with a movable jaw, allowing it to be used with different sizes of fastener head (nut, bolt, etc.) rather than just one fastener size, as with a conventional fixed spanner. There are many forms of adjustable spanners; many of them are screw-adjusted, whereas others use levers, and some early ones used wedges.

I was wondering what other people thought, my point is this.
I, like most people, use adjustable spanners. But recently I'm starting to find that the extra bulk around the business end of an adjustable spanner is making any tight intricate adjustments, especially when you need to just nip up...

just a heads up, bahco have just released the big brothers to their 6-8inch wide jaw adjustables, the 10inch open to 46mm and the 12inch opens to 55mm, handy for pump nuts and 42mm compression fittings if anyone does commercial.
Hi guys, any of you used these?

If yes, opinions please!
Currently using the 6" Amtech Adjustables, they open to 1 and half inches but are not good at holding their width and are a little chunky.
Anyone recommend a pukka pair?

Is there such a thing as an adjustable rad valve connector. I have found the ones that adjust up and down but need an extra 30mm to connect my tails to a new towel rad so need one that adjusts sideways.
