Noticed a Kerosene whiff around my tank the last few days. Found had a weep at the tank filter bowl.
stripped it down and changed the o-ring and bottom bolt seal. Boxed it back up, turned on the oil, and suddenly oil was shooting out the side of the bowl....wtf !
Further investigation showed...

Hi guys, riello burner is cutting out after it’s been running for 2 hours solid. Replaced new photo cell, nozzle, capacitor, I’m trying to fit a new solenoid tomorrow. Any ideas if this fails?

Can any one help with an old Riello pump and giving me an idea of a current p/n.
The p/n on the old pump i have is 6070 9623, but this isn't recognized by any current suppliers website.
dose any one know what current pump it would cross refer to?

Has anyone come across this before. Lead from the electrode on Firebird Combi. 2 years old. Riello 2.2 burner. If so any any ideas re Cause?
possibly looks like it has been touching the oil line nut. But sheathing should protect it

I am told that a Toby 4cc-13cc oil control valve can be used to replace my Rayburn’s faulty obsolete BM30 4cc-13cc oil control valve.
Will the Toby fit directly in place of the BM30 on the same mounting bracket on the side of the Rayburn, and are the Toby’s inlet and outlet connections in line...
Looking for help identifying a photocell for an old Myson Velaire oil boiler. The current photocell is a danfoss 057h202d type D photocell, which I can’t find listed anywhere. So I would be very grateful if someone might know which current photocells might be compatible.

My Danesmoor is on last legs. Actually was when I posted on here two years ago asking about Firebird as a replacement, but limped along. Now however the writing really is on the wall so need to replace this summer.
Heating engineer is wedded to Firebird but not heard good things about out of...
New tank going in and need to transfer a thousand litres of kero.
can anyone recommend a decent transfer pump.

I have a oil fired Rayburn with a BM controller and flexitemp, installed for 10yrs +, which has developed a fault.
It runs OK either high or low settings through the day but when left over night on low setting goes out ?
Flexitemp seems to operate when tested
Any help would be appreciated
