Just bought a new house with a Worcester Greenstar Camray 18/25 boiler and Zircon cylinder. Hot water and heating are working fine. When in heating mode boiler sounds normal but when in hot water mode it sounds like a very noisy washing machine in wash mode, gurgling swishing noise of water. Is this normal?

I have bled all the radiators, the bleed valve at the cylinder and I think all the boiler bleeds. Pressure is correct ( ~1bar cold ). If not normal what else can I check?

How close is boiler to cylinder? Is it a 3 port or 2 x 2 ports? Is the pressure gauge working correctly? Single pump or dual pumps? What speed is pump on?

sounds like to much flow through cylinder, causing coil to vibrate

I assume from your concise reply the noise isn't normal for this model. As a relatively competent DIYer ( including the complete installation of the first CH system at my last house ) I will try and find out more before calling the professionals. I was hoping for some tips from experts that know this model but thanks anyway.

my original reply was to Gasman. The cylinder is almost directly above the boiler, probably about 12 feet away. Its 2*2 port. I think single pump. I'll check the pump speed tomorrow, slowing it down sounds like a possible cure?

If you can install a complete heating system properly, then you should be able to diagnose any problem in the pipework.
The boiler is something you better leave alone and get the professionals in now
