Hi, my 22mm pipe slice is not cutting all the way through pipe. It is getting pretty close to it the it just starts spinning. It is relatively new 3 months old Rothenberg don't understand it.
Right, leaking CH return pipe today,in the bathroom floor combi boiler in bathroom cupboard, lifted boards, looked like 28mm copper, cut it out with recip saw as it was too tight for a slice, pipe was slightly too big for end feed coupler to go on.

bought an Am tech 28mm pipe slice the other day,, most of other plumbing tools i use are top quality,, but as i'am only a diy plumber probably wont use it that often, thought id buy it because its cheap,, but the quality of this product is really shocking,, so i open'd it up, move'd the parts...
Is it me or does a pipe slice never seem to last more than 6 months , my last one has suddenly decided to not work and now cuts so far into the pipe then just wont cut any deepr so i have to snap the pipe .....grrrrrr
