repairs
The technical meaning of maintenance involves functional checks, servicing, repairing or replacing of necessary devices, equipment, machinery, building infrastructure, and supporting utilities in industrial, business, and residential installations. Over time, this has come to include multiple wordings that describe various cost-effective practices to keep equipment operational; these activities occur either before or after a failure.

Thinking of doing fixed price repairs. Does anyone else do this or work for a company that does. What is the charge and how often do you get stung?
Thank you for the help.

hi all, im after some help/advice. I am an installer/fitter but basicly just want to repair boilers but only really know the basics so would like to no the best place to be able to get this experience needed, thanks.
Had some real bad ones recently :( I don't usually have much a problem with the diagnosing, I'm much better at that than the actual repair it seems!
It takes a lot of experience not to open a can of worms for yourself if you arn't doing them all the time.
I now know why my Dad doesn't take on...
Hi
Im going crazy over my Ariston Mircogenus 24 boiler (6 years old).
Its not heating water properly and you only get some hot water to the nearest bathroom as the water pressure has to be lowered. The ensuite gets no hot water at all!
So far I (well, my plumber) has
1. Replaced PCB board...

.....not really a plumbing question, but I've had a chunk of my living room ceiling come down due to damage to an upstairs rad pipe by one of the kids.
I'm claiming on house insurance but they're asking for 2 quotes from firms first. Normally it would be a joiner to fit new plasterboard to...

After 25 years installing what I believe to be quality gas boiler installations, training to be Part P approved, I have now taken the plunge to gain a certificate in Solar Thermal.
So Tuesday morning I will be sitting in a classroom again in Worcester, eager to learn.
Seems to good to be true...

Hi, Have just noticed my trusty Regin Premier 45 U-gauge is leaking but I can for the life of me find anywhere online that sells spare bits. Does anyone know of an online stockist for spare o-rings or rebuild kits as I dont think this warrents replacement yet.

Hi all, I have a customer who has a steel bath with a large crack/scratch on it. She has asked if I know of anyone who repairs these to give her a quote. She lives in Leeds, West Yorkshire. Does anyone here do repairs or knows of a company that does.
Thanks
