as said lots of frozen condensate pipes and last year i had 2 cwst freeze made a mess,better dig out the hair dryer for some reason i can lay my hands on the kettle
 
thought we had some in sw london but turned out to be dandruff ;):)

Expected over the weekend,might warm it up a bit coz been really cold last few days:(
 
it had better snow just bought two bags of rock salt for the drive!
 
had a frozen u gauge this morning,ice in the inhibitor filler,and a wet dust sheet Dave the apprentice left in the back of the van looked like a mini iceberg
 
frozen rimlocks on van doors this morning,great fun trying to defrost with lighter,
dont forget to take your fga indoors now,they dont like being frozen inthe back of vans overnight.
GASMAN,was the con trap on that r/h boiler,ballache to get at,boiler boxed in ,ended up taking gasvalve out to get at it

thougt it would be a bugger to get out wozo did you get it going?
 
Learn to throw your guage on the dash in winter. It will be defrosted by the time you need to use it.

It was worse when they were made of glass:)

yes i had a glass one once bought it out of my first pay packet broke the tube a month later gutted,good tip about the gauge on the dash

lol - yeah loads of calls and call outs - them heating faults werent bothering them so much a week or so ago haha
