Or it could be rat piddle as its only on a handful out of a box full. I do have a wire brush but was hoping for a solution that's a little easierWire brush, the wheel type with a spindle that fits in a drill? Thinking it`s just oxidisation from damp.

Good point. I'll dig the wire brush out and give that a try.It can`t get much easier than a wire brush, isn`t there a chance that harsh chemicals could damage the seat where the olive seals. Didn`t think about rat pee tbh but still oxidisation none the less.
Wire brush and dettol.
Works on tonsillitis too...
