Hi,
today I’ve taken 3 radiators outside to flush, as 2 were not working and one cold at the bottom, I appeared to wash a lot of black silt from all; However, it hasn’t helped with the 2 not heating at all.
one I feel is the last rad (6) and the other position 4 or 5 but hard to tell which...
Hi! My heating is working fine upstairs but downstairs is very hit and miss. Of the 6 radiators downstairs only 3 work. All radiators have been bleed and drained multiple times. I have fitted a new pump in the boiler but 3 radiators are still stone cold. Any suggestions?
Thank you!
This one has been in for a year now, it sorted out there existing heating system which had a pump on pump trying to get the water to circulate around the bottom to floors.
Only went there to investigate plastic pipework which had blown apart twice.
toilet seat I have needs tightened. No access to underneath, no mechanism to remove seat. Been searching for solution for weeks. See photo. Any advice please? No brand name. Thanks, BobD.
anyone tried one of these valves yet? I can't see the point of fitting a different drop valve in place of the one you have?
Its saying you don't have to remove the cistern to fit?

Hello all,
I'm hoping someone might have some idea what I can do, as I've had a bash and the plumber seemed uncertain! I've been having issues with our downstairs loo. It used to flush fine, but a while ago the water started to fill the toilet bowl and slow drain. It's variable, sometimes it...

Hi all,
Last night we tried to turn on the heating for the first time this autumn and it turns out it is not working. The hot water works fine, the flame comes on periodically to heat it even when not in use, but the radiators are completely cold, no hot water is coming out their way. Do not...

Anyone came across this before on brass fittings stored in shed. Any suggestions on how to remove it. Tried wire wool, cleaned in hot soapy water and left to soak in boiling water. Anyone know of a chemical that could remove it?
Hi all,
I cannot figure out how to remove the cistern lid on my toilet (single push button style).
(am trying to diagnose a separate issue: the water keep slowly leaking from the tank into the toilet).
The toilet is by a brand called "Koło".
I have attached 3 pictures to help explain the...
