Hi all,

Nothing too serious but I feel like I'm going round in circles with a customer. She wants a steam shower (she has 2 showers in total) and needs a pump to make it work right BUT the one I've been recommended needs 80 gallons min cold storage in the loft and she's only got 50. The reason for this is that there's absolutely no room for a bigger tank heightwise and lengthwise a new one will cost a bomb.

Salamander have recommended the ESP 100 CPV but the lady and her husband live in a bungalow and are highly unlikely to use both showers at the same time. Also the stored hot water is bound to give out way before the cold water does so I'm wondering if I could use this pump with the existing setup but only on the understanding that they don't use both showers at the same time.

Does anyone have any experience of this as I don't?!!

Many thanks for your help!

Go of what pump maker recommemds, can you replace tank with 100gal coffin tank ?

can you not add a second tank ? same hieght into the extra length you have

If there really is no room for a second tank tell your customer she will have to build an extension to give more loft space for a bigger tank.

Some people just wont accept that they can't have everything they want within the limits they provide.
