Room thermostat not responding?

My combi boiler keeps coming on even when the ambient room temperature is higher than the setting on the room thermostat, I have to keep turning the boiler thermostat down when it gets too warm, is the Room Thermostat knackered? its a digital one

Need to test that its functioning. Time to get the testers out.

Is it wireless? batteries not working.
