no .its a general question a neighbour wants to take out a old oil boiler which is installed where a rayburn used to be but the boiler central heating pipes go through concrete wall to under the floor boards .So to keep it simple can they not be connected to hot water tank pipes, would it not be much different if the range cooker had flow and return on both endsUncontrolled heat sources, such as you wood fired Rayburn, require specialist installation.
Too many things to go wrong and when they do go wrong, they go wrong in a very bad way.
If you have no, or limited experience with the setup of these type of installations, then get someone who has.
I hope you're not in the same boat with the people that paid a small fortune for the appliance and are required to pay a 'Kings Ransom' for a correct and required installation.
PS: Small Fortune & Kings Ransom were terms used by a customer of mine to me in an email, when I quoted her the connection of her new Rayburn stove to her existing heating system.

its basicly the two radiator heating pipes going straight into the flow and return pipes of the backboilerSketch of what's proposed would be useful.
