Discuss Radiator sizing in the Plumbing Jobs | The Job-board area at PlumbersForums.net
does anyone know a quick method of sizing rads without using a mears calc or a computer program. an old plumber once told me cube the room up in foot then times 5 then this is BTU.....something like that anyway
I always times by 4 for my rough estimate. 5 sounds way to heavy.
As said, get a Mears Calculator, or if that sounds like too much effort, there are some pretty accurate online calculators.
For instance try this beauty.
