Hey guys, I have a shower that is failing to get hot water to it... The pump sounds awful when starting up, almost like its running dry! The connection in the airing looks wrong to me the 15mm pipe in the pic goes up & then down onto the pump in 15mm... Isn't the vent supposed to come off the top & the side outlet go to the pump on these flanges? Obviously I can't tell properly without removing the flange!

The vent should be coming out of the top

Vent should come out the top run 450mm horizontally at a slight rise then vent and feed
Shower should come out the side

Surrey flange is shower hot out of side connection & vent with hot to other supplies from the top connection.
Warix flange is the opposite way.

All correct, but probably not the fault if it's worked fine before.

I had one recently where the hose was collapsing, causing a restriction and an awfull noise.

Theirs a thread from a while back similar to this and it turned out the tube inside had fallen off!! Has it always done it or just started?
