Hi. I was
Wondering if anyone can help

I had a huge leak under my kitchen sink

And where the bowl sink kit goes onto the outside pipe/waste I just can’t get a seal, just doesn’t stay on.

Can see in video/pictures

Can anyone advice how I sort this out.

It’s almost like all of a sudden just doesn’t go on far enough to actually do anything. When pushed in it only
Goes as far as the picture with the black mark on

The part your trying to push on remove the nut on the end should unscrew and you will notice a black rubber washer in the elbow you need to fish this out

On the pipe goes nut, washer, rubber cone washer cone towards the elbow then the elbow tighten and you should be good

You have a rubber seal missing , it should have a chamfer on one of its sides , are you sure its not there
There is a rubber seal on the actually pipe just where it’s screwed on to the waste pipe. But as you can see on video hopefully. It just doesn’t tighten. Just is loose and doesn’t provide a seal.

I can only see one vid for some reason , as you look at the picture you have just sent , the seal is to the right on the elbow , not on thin round one on the left

There is defo not this top on either part. The part trying to fix in has a small black seal inside like one on the link small one but nothing on the actual waste pipe

So the big top rubber one you mentioned should be on the waste pipe (middle picture) before I attack the elbow ? Then that should provide the seal tight ?

I was stupid enough not to check the position of the pipes under the tiles when installing a toilet and drilled right through the center of a 16 mm copper water pipe. I exposed the pipe by removing a ~30cm section of the plastic sleeve and a ~10 cm section of the pipe around the hole. Several...
