i fitted an ideal logic+ 30kw for a customer last year and got a phone call last week from the customer telling me there was a constant humming noise coming from it in the loft ...popped round to take a look and found the pump running continually, not much i could do about it as it was still under warranty so called ideal in the morning. turns out there's a fault with a link on a batch that went out last year.

just a heads up if anyone else gets this problem

just to add ideal were..well...ideal :biggrin5: engineer turned up first thing next day and corrected the fault all under the 5 years parts and labour warranty
