Can't see a check valve on it but looks like a composite valve for an unvented cylinder.

Composite, was the word I was missing. Trying to order it from cities at 4:55 from site and just couldnt think of the word. "You know... for an unvented cylinder with the 8bar expansion relief.

Heatrae Sadia combination one I would believe when I order one tomorrow, anyone have a disagreement with that? Thanks for the help

Job is For a friend when he said he had a leak. I went out to it. Said I couldn't do it as its unvented and not allowed under doc g but will help as best I can. Hence here now.

the best advice you could give him is get a g3 plumber out and looks like its been leaking for a long while

Yeah has been, lot a heavy staining. He said he just hasn't noticed, drips straight through boards into open cavity.

I think we may be missing what I've said/mean, when I saw it was unvented, I have left it alone but calling out someone who can but want to help as much as I could. Not worth touching it as not carded to and obviously any issues PL insurance will say jog on. Just not worth it.
