No photo yet, no name on heater ? are you talking about a Multi Point or over sink ?

Just got photo, Not a good idea to store anything around a open flue appliance BIG FIRE RISK what does it say on data plate ??

I know, Its been isolated by the looks of it... I am GS reg but haven't sent my card in yet..

just wanted the name out of interest

Is it an early free standing Janus?

Or why not read the Data badge that is visible?

Could it possibly be the hot water element of an old Johnson and Starley hot air system?

Worked on stacks of circulators back in the day but have never seen this one, must be on the badge plate though?

Doesn't look like the ones that used to be in a Thorn Sugg or Johnson and Starley.

Definitely a nice fire hazard if it were on. Seen quite a few where the fins caked up where they weren't cleaned properly. The call you would then get would be luke warm water as the flames would go downwards and heat the pipes from the outside of the appliance.

That opens your eyes when you get there! Normally wire mesh around these old units.

A lot of warm air heaters were the original combi with the air heater one side and circulator on the other

Hi guys. I'm trying to identify a toilet model before ordering a seat for a customer. I went to what used to be a Roca stockist (they no longer are) and one of the guys there reckoned it might be "The Gap". I went to the new stockist and the guy there disagreed it was "The Gap" and that he'd...

I have a plumber coming tomorrow to change a cartridge on a badly dripping tap on my bathroom mixer unit. There is no separate isolating valve for this tap so I'll have to close the stopcock. I tried closing it today but it won't go absolutely 100% closed and there is still a very slight flow...
