most MIs i come across now only have a minimum burner pressure of say 18mb so if the min is 18mb you cant have the +/-2mb and you could record a burner pressure of 22mb its above the 18mb but no clear definition.
 
its because in some areas the mains are knackered so 18 mb is the lower limit
