Hi All
I'm new to this forum thing and I don't really knew w what I'm doing , so go easy please

Right info

Biazi riva plus he plus 28 kw
Heating but no hot water . Initially I thought flow switch .no fault showing on boiler just green light flashing waiting for a command .

Changes magnetic flow switch , no joy . Actuater on diverter valve working(motor runs pin moves . Diverter valve pin operates when pushed manually so not ceased . Checked dhw thermistor gets 15 ohms . Rings biazi .should he getting around 12 ohms on sensor so no issue there . Run a magnet over sensor I was advised by biazi. Does this still nowt. So then he says pcb . Ok I says , changes pcb . Sets up the board with the instructions . Now nothing works not even heating and I'm getting an air pressure switch fault code . I haven't gone any where near aps . Rings biazi again . He runs me through board setup , still same.
Still no hot water . Now he says oh may be the turbine in the flow switch has jammed , there's a filter in there that could be blocked . Why would he advise a pcb first ??

I'm st a loss now . How can I have heating , swap a board and now have an aps fault . Checked all connections etc biazi guy says could be condensate unit ?? Or aps . I know coincidences happen but I refuse to believe that after swapping the board the aps has decided to go or the condensate unit has suddenly blocked in the space of an hour .

Only been an engineer for a few two year and I don't do many breakdowns so any knowledge from you wiser guys would be greatly appreciated, before I end up ragging the boiler off the wall and throwing it in a skip

Cheers guys

Pm your gas safe details to Dan or lou when they have been verified, this post can be moved to the GSRI forum where i am sure one of us will be able to help you , sorry but we cannot advise repairs
to any gas appliances on a public open forum for safety reasons. Cheers kop

Think you have been given some bad advice very much doubt it is the pcb board the heatings working , download the manual sit down have a cup of tea and read how the process of ignition works and how the boiler operates you may suprise yourself ? Kop

If so, message a moderator on here with your details and we have a separate sub forum , so we don't encourage diy.

Ye I didn't think it was pcb in first place. I'm always reluctant to swap em, unless obvious signs of scorching or corrosion .
Another engineer had been out to it and said pcb, I told Cust I didn't think it was , rang biazi and he said it was . I don't know why I got myself involved in this job tbh . Keep my gob shut in future

remember on this boiler if you reset it five times or more you will need to turn the spur switch off and on to reset it

I have a plumber coming tomorrow to change a cartridge on a badly dripping tap on my bathroom mixer unit. There is no separate isolating valve for this tap so I'll have to close the stopcock. I tried closing it today but it won't go absolutely 100% closed and there is still a very slight flow...
