Hi anyone come across such situation? If yes what happened and how did you overcome. Cheers

I would suggest its a melted seal. I've only come across this once and in the end just went round the edge with a Stanley blade. Completely cleaned it up replaced seal and has been ok ever since.

You got it off then? Was the seal melted??

Not off yet but I'll follow your suit once I get my hands on the seal

Just my parts supplier they had them in stock

Heat will only compound the problem
