Grundfos UPS3 is £99.98 from Toolstation, best price I can find locally, or even delivered free next day, BUT, the pump is listed in "shower pumps" on their website, not "central heating pumps", so I nearly missed it!!
Well not quite but they are giving me endless problems, I did an online order with them for £154 added the £5 charge for next day before 12 delivery when I clicked the the payment button for £159 I got the message saying there has been a problem with your order for £154 I rang them and they said...

I've fitted a new mixer tap to the bathroom wash basin. I was maybe a bit too gentle tightening the back nut and now having plumbed it all, I find the mixer can turn. Didn't want to take apart again, so bought an adjustable basin wrench. whilst it reaches, because of the moulded recess...
Had intermittent leaky cold water tank, with help from you guys I replaced and sorted the problem. Loft now drying out at last.
Unfortunately I saw the instructions from Ferham tanks after I had fitted all the pipes which says don't use any sealing compound on the cold water tank. Some older...

Hi,
Planning to help a mate with a bath install I will be bonding the edge of the bath onto tiles as it was an old wet room, can anyone recommend an adhesive that will keep the bath stuck for good?!
Any help appreciated, regards
Any of you guys know how to set one of these valves (see link)

Hi everyone, been out to replace immersion stat today and found a whole host of issues and landlord wants a replacement cylinder, the existing one is a very old primatic I would imagine 1960's ish. The gravity primaries are therefore sealed with no drain cock, cylinder also. I can syphon the...

Hi

I'm cutting out some old lead gas pipe at a friends house on Sunday, the lead is wiped onto the meter union, so...

Has anyone got an idea the best place to get O rings for sink and basin traps? I need packs of 10 preferably. So as to cut down on cost and repeat purchases. Thanking yous for your assist:yes:
Hi all,
Just realised I've never actually had to fix pipe clips (for 15mm copper) to plasterboard.
Am I right in thinking I can just screw them on, with a screw going into a drywall plug?
