What length of jobs do you prefer?

A mix. A few two week bathrooms and then catch up on smaller jobs.

5-6 small jobs a day would be amazing if I could get them, more profitable too.

Week long jobs , providing the phone doesnt ring and I get dragged off the job , in reality thats never going to happen .

Small jobs of 1 or 2 hours I prefer.
Less pressure on me and I can still manage to fit in some breakdowns or other urgent call outs.

A mix of all the above the only problem is how to juggle them all and keep everyone happy ? often you drop someone but be honest and at least let them know many plumbers just dont bother turning up a phone call is all it takes . Kop

Too many very small jobs and I find myself squeezing too many in and running round a bit, too long a job and I get tunnel visioned and don't take breaks properly and it leaves me to knackered. So my ideal jobs are 2-3 hours long. Two of those a day at a chilled pace is what I'd prefer.

A good mix wouldn’t be bad. It’s nice to see the end after a long job it gives a good feeling once you finished it off. Smaller jobs can be profitable but it also can get really upsetting when things do t work.

All I do is reactive maintenance. Great variety and satisfaction fixing stuff. Pay is probably about the same when you factor in the dead hours per day but never have a long boring one though.

Ive resisted the urge long enough.

As long as they are short enough i dont have to break them up with the loo brush before i flush.
