Sorry guys, the best I can manage tonight is to pop in, eliminate someone, and then resume the Florence nightingale costume.
My apologies.

I wonder who will survive tomorrow's brutal Darwinian selection? Will the fittest survive? Are any of them even remotely fit? And if so, fit for what?
Tune in to tomorrow's exciting instalment of "greedy 4 freebie" - an everyday tale of plumbing folk...
Right, apologies for the late start.
So, shall we kick some one out? Or shall we decide its too late to start all the teasing, and kick two out tomorrow instead?
Tomorrow
And you get back to your lady wife mate

Cancel the whole thing and move on to pens, mugs and fleeces tomorrow..
Nice to hear a man who loves his workMrs S is tucked up in bed, with hot water bottle etc.
I have 10 minutes wind down time. Time enough (and to spare) to crush the hopes of a Chalked. Or indeed an Anz. Or a hammers, ch4 or solutions.
Oh, how the fragile yachts of their hopes blow around the rocky harbour of their own destruction...
Sorry - was that a bit too poetic?

As a side issue, I note that this thread now has more than four thousand, two hundred views.
The other day, we discussed the whole idea of only four moving parts. Was it a good thing? The consensus seemed to be that whilst it might be a bit of a marketing gimmick, generally speaking, less to go wrong could be an advantage.
What about the inclusion of a RF programmable stat ? Combis have come with clocks for years, and more recently manufacturers have offered programmable stats as optional extras, but this is the first that I can recall where the honeywell base station is included in the boiler case, and the stat part is thrown in FOC. Thats about £100 worth of freebie?
Is it something that you guys would value?
honestly no
I find customers hate room stats over complicated for them most I do happy just to have an on off switch
Yes , definitely a good inclusion. As a side issue, I note that this thread now has more than four thousand, two hundred views.

A room thermostat must be fitted to all installations.
I agree that trv'is offer greater room control and programable stats can be a pain to set. But you do need one as a interlink for boiler cycling.
Anyway, when's this rapid thing showing its face, can't find any details anywhere?
Yes the wireless stat particularly a relatively solid brand (honeywell) being included is a big plus. Particularly as I understand the base is capable of operating with several different models of prog stat, although not simultaneously of course. As a side issue, I note that this thread now has more than four thousand, two hundred views.

I'm wondering how long before they sniff for Phone-Wifi / PIR detectors , to see if some ones home , before pre--heating Combi Hot-Water !A room thermostat must be fitted to all installations.
You still here Matt? I thought we ejected your sorry bum yesterday?
All quiet, too quiet
