A FLINT

Hi I have a grant vortex oil boiler and I have turned it off for 4 days. When I turned it back on I can't get any hot water or heating. I have filled water pressure back up but light at bottom of boiler isn't on could this be the problem if so how do I sort it?

Well there's your problem, its a Grant :)

Seriously though, find a competent engineer to take a look.

If youve had to fill it up with water the chances are its overheated. Undo the plastic nipple on the front panel marked overheat or limit stat and press the button underneath, if it clicks it has been triggered and the boiler will go
