Hi chaps and chapesses I have a customer with a leaking Flamco pressure reducing valve see pics

it seems to be leaking from the gauge which is full of water. looks like it was fitted as an afterthought the way the pipework runs. customer now has a combi in so probably has a new prv fitted, I haven't investigated further yet.

any thoughts?

Hi Stevo some gauges have a type of oil in them to absorb any sudden shock and to stabilize the reading....that gap at the top of the gauge is quite normal......regards Turnpin:8:

thanks Turnpin in this case though I think the gauge is up the spout

Isolate supply, unscrew gauge and screw in new gauge.

Thread size could be a choice of two or three.

Check incoming mains pressure. If only combi and cold now on mains
then may be able to discard prv.
