I have a Drayton Lifestyle LP522 heating timer which isn't that old.

Thetimer switches on at the correct programmed times but the heating does not start up.

If I switch the hot water from Timer to ON, the boiler starts up and the heating comes and runs with no
problems.

Both the hot water and central heating switch off at the correct programmed times with no issues.

The thermostat is a Drayton and looks quite old and it is making a clicking sound when I turn it so I'm assuming it works.

Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be?

It sounds like the programmer is on 16 programs and the thing is wired incorrectly or the programmer needs to be on 10

Do you know if it's an S plan Y plan or something else ?
