If you are not Gas Safe registered you should not have cover off that boiler as it forms part of combustion seal.
Close it back up & call in an accredited GSR engineer.

Put the covers back on and call a gas safe engy

As unless your gas safe you can't remove any covers / case seals
 
No no no ! you cant do that put the casing back and call a GSRI probably a simple solution but nothing you can do yourself . kop

IS IT POSSIBLE TO ADJUST THIS MIXER UNIT? WE HAVE TO HAVE IT TURNED ALMOST FULLY ANTI CLOCKWISE TO GET HOT WATEROUT. THE FRONT PLATE WITH MIRA ON IT PRISES OFF AND INSIDE THERE ARE SOME PLASTIC BITS AND A SMALL CROSS-HEAD SCREW IN THE MIDDLE. THANKS
