Bleeding radiator and broke!

Hi, I have just tried to bleed a radiator with the key and the top of it has sheered off, I have put a towel down but there doesn't seem to be any water coming thankfully, what should I do in the long term?

Can you post a picture for me please of the radiator and the broken bit.

Welcome a long. Hopefully it really doesn’t leak ;/ at that time sheering a bleeding point off would not be fun. A pictures as above mentioned would be helpful

You will not be able to bleed the radiator so the broken bleed nipple need removing and replacing ( bear in mind they are not all the same design) if it is not possible to remove the bleed nipple and new radiator may be on the cards

Easibleed or ezebleed, some stupid name anyway do a valve to replace the broken one and you get to keep the old radiator.

That’s assuming it’s a 1/2” sized one, still come across the very old types. A photo will help us out big time.
