pilot
An aircraft pilot or aviator is a person who controls the flight of an aircraft by operating its directional flight controls. Some other aircrew members, such as navigators or flight engineers, are also considered aviators, because they are involved in operating the aircraft's navigation and engine systems. Other aircrew members, such as drone operators, flight attendants, mechanics and ground crew, are not classified as aviators.
In recognition of the pilots' qualifications and responsibilities, most militaries and many airlines worldwide award aviator badges to their pilots.

Hi guys, absolute pain this one. Went to change diaphragm but none of my ones I had would fit. So put it back together and this bugger wouldn't work correctly. Spent 4 hours there today, had everything apart, cleaned, but no joy. Ignition is ok but as soon as you twist the knob anticlockwise it...
Need to replace one of these, the one i found on a spares site looks slightly different to the one thats in at the moment. Are the new ones just a different design?
Hi,
I've recently had the meters changed to pre-pay meters and unfortunately the gas ran out overnight. The installer didn't show me how to light the pilot light and I'm really struggling as I am not mechanically/technically minded at all. It is a Baxi Bermuda 552.
I'm sure it's...
We have a gas boiler flue (I think its a Behlman make). Recently we have had alot of trouble with the pilot light.
The pilot light will light initially, the boiler with burn up and then once the first burn up is completed the pilot light goes out.

Had a look at a gas fired water heater today, pilot would not light. I removed pilot assembly from the supply tube, depressed control knob, there was plenty of gas there.
From this I gathered that the pilot injector was blocked. I tried to clean the injector, to no avail, so for now, water...

Hi All
Probably an obvious question to most here, but I have always used a collueges core bit set-up and it is always put together when I use it.
I have just bought my own core drill set (Duradiamond 5 Core Premium Slotted Box Kit). My question is about the pilot bit. How is it inserted into...

I have got to go back out to a LPG Ideal classic tomorrow that the pilot injector keeps blocking up.

Why would this keep happening I know the injector is smaller but I deal with a couple and this is the only 1 that I have...
Changed a dhw flow switch on one of these about 4 months ago as it was sticking, causing the boiler to bang and the interrupter to cut the pilot off. Got a call today same customer same problem going back tomorrow, anyone known them to fail that quickly or should I be looking elsewhere?
:hand:
