Hello,

I'd like to replace a shower kit and I bought a new MOEN one. Unfortunately, when I unmounted the old one, I discovered that I have the wrong valve. I'm not familiar with the valve differences and I was wondering if I should buy a new kit or if there was a quick fix to my problem.

I have included a photo of the existing valve and the required one.

Thank you for the help!!

Thanks for your reply Townfanjon!
I don't really have the skills to alter the pipework, and I was hoping I could find an easier workaround such as using an adaptor. Do you know if there is a way to unmount / change the cartridge only?

Thanks again for the help!
