Discuss Unvented cylinder in loft - terminating tundish in the USA area at PlumbersForums.net

Ill need to check with client for load bearing walls to reposition it, a shorter run in copper does seem a better and neater option.

I've just found a figure for the fall required (1:200), is that right?
Yes, the fall on the D2 must be a minimum 1:200

If you have access to the stack then why not? That's a good solution. Alternatively you can take the D2 outside and down to the ground (must terminate within 100mm of ground level) and put a little protective cage around the end of the pipe as per regs. Obviously depending on where this is on the building it can look ugly but at the side or around the back I have found most customers don't mind the pipe showing. This also allows you to fully comply with the "Discharge visible at two points" part of the regs.
