underfloor heating problem

hi all fitted underfloor heating about a month ago and working fine.It is in the kitchen so kept it away from the units the problem is that they have fitted an american stlye
fridge which sticks out another foot the fridge is condensating when the heating is on full.Has anyone any ideas how i can stop this doing this without ripping the tiled floor up.daz

How about stading the fridge on a small platform about 4" high with insulation packed underneath?

Icant they hav kitchen units goin above the fridge which means I have about 5mm until it hits the unit

have to turn the ufh down or off and tell them they can have one or the other but not both. not a lot you can do would probably condensate with normal fridge freezer as well.

I just wondered if there is anything i could slide in between the fridge and the floor thats heatproof.Maybe asbestolux ???

Its just been refurbished with plastered ceiling tiled floor and new kitchen.I fitted a full heating system and they wont pay until both the fridge and ufh are working properly

what part of the fridge/freezer is the condensation forming on?

Its on the door. wen u open the door water runs out.The underfloor heating is only a foot under the fridge so it coming from the front of it

What temp are you operating the underfloor heating at,think problem maybe with fridge seals or insulation,or it could be just moisture in the new fridge and once removed will be ok,has it a ice maker,if so is unit sealed correctly?

The fridge as a ice maker and drinking options when the underfloor heating is on full it condensates. when the ufh is off or low it doesnt

problem lies in your fridge not the floor. You will only get condensation inside the fridge if there is a problem with seals and air is getting in. The same insulation that keeps the cold in will keep the heat out.Also check drainhole at the back of the fridge to see if it is blocked.

it is, as already said, almost certainly the fridge at fault here.

This is a problem with the fridge not the ufh.
