So I'm looking at getting a new van/pick up - maybe.

Ads keep saying things like flat rate tax for company users?

What does it mean please?

is it refering to company car drivers who have to pay tax based on the vehicle they are given.

As a sole trader getting your own van, you get capital allowances and tax allowances on any interest paid on the vehicle. chat to your accountant for whether to buy or lease as one form of payment my be more suitable for you.
