Yes going for a new oneTBH I dont know exactly but it will be around £300 , but you wont be able to change it for anywhere near that . Ten year old , its time for a new one if customers funds allow .

This is a different boiler. But looks to be same problem. Yes I did swap the Las one.If its the heat exchanger it should be fairly obvious by the colour of the trap water.
Did you get the job of replacing the boiler?
