Pricing up a job for a customer. I assume it has to be a 3 or 4 bar pump for 2 mixer showers if this is advisable but as these cost 400 quid plus, may it be better to run 2 shower pumps?
Position would be in the loft around a foot below a raised cold water tank. The cylinder is in airing cupboard below and pressure to both showers is poor. I'd say the head of water is 2 metres.
Which shower pump would you reccomend?

anything made by Stuart turner that said just fitted a salamander impressed quiet and powerful

dont know the old guy would not have a Stuart turner insisted on salamander its got a 2 year warranty he is 90 which one will die first?:D

it will be a close run thing !!:)

sure it was not a heart pump he was after !

cheers for replies, spoke to Salamander on the phone and they reccomend the esp cvp100 twin to go in the loft for 2 showers at once, pumping both the hot and tank fed cold.
Waiting for a price from local merchants though screwfix have it for ÂŁ429.00 inc.
I'm reluctant to fit one as heard of problems with them with leaky seals and they have an old 900 x 450mm cylinder which runs out of hot water quickly as it is, nevermind with this pump on.
So also waiting for a price for a new 1500 x 500 open vented cylinder to go with it or alternatively a Main un-vented 1475 x 550 which I'd much rather install but the customer is reluctant to even change the cylinder so I don't think he'll want to pay for a proper job.

Usually I try and offer invented if possible in these situations quite often it's not much in labour and the Albion 210 is pretty well priced

Seals go when water is too hot cylinder stat absolutely essential

cheers, it does have a cylinder stat. New cylinder is 400 and able to get the salamander from local merchants for 384 including.
It turns out with the lagging this cylinder is too wide so now we are looking at unvented instead.
