reading the latest gas safe magazine there is no excuse not to register boilers and leave to the customer it is now our responsibility and cant be left to the customer
 
you guys get the mag through your door? i havent got one yet ... last couple i have fitted (baxi) i register them on the website.
 
call them and get it sent to you - we pay enough for membership - the unsafe situations book should be free for the price we pay

I assume you're saying "should be" in the sense that we get naff all for our reg fees. Not "should be" as in we do get it for nowt? Sorry I hate to miss a deal :smile:
 
i dont reg boilers /cylinders UNTILL full payment has been made !!! not that I ever had customer refusing to pay just my way of doing it .
after job done i sent invoice and when invoice paid then i reg boilers and sent all the remaining paper work
 
I agree but some leave it to the customer to do, not possible now according to gas safe
 
job I did for a builder I fitted about 10 full ch systems and there was 5k to be paid ! If it was not for the registration certificate I would have not got my money .....
