I didn't think I'd ever say this but I've found a boiler that is worse than a Isar and a Ferrolli rolled into one. It has the build quality of a Lada Riva (for the younger generation, look it up on Google). it's a Ravenheat Primary. They are rubbish

Bread and butter, long may they be manufactured :) ... Krikey if everyone keeps putting 5 and 7 year warranty boiler in where's the repair market gonna be? :D

Most of the warranties will be void as they wont be topping up inhibitor etc

I have to work on the combi version regularly, they were fitted loads on the social housing contract I work on. They're rubbush, total rubbish. They break down at least twice a year, but at least they're relatively easy to repair. Remember the PCBs are actually quite reliable on them and the rest of it is rubbish, especially the NTC sensors, AAV's and the heat exchanger seals.

every time i look in these, i see how many leaks i can count- most i've got to is 9 micro leaks. ( its a sad life working on your own )

Can anyone recommend a decent multi meter, preferably under a 100 pounds. It's for checking boiler components so I don't need a top spec one ....just easy to use and reliable. The fluke 115 looks good but its above my budget. My current socket and see one was great but it's developed a fault.

Hello plumbers in my internet. So the Mrs want a spray mixer tap in the kitchen as we had two separate taps. I changed the tap for a temporary two hole mixer but the cold water pressure is high mains fed and the hot is low pressure immersion tank fed. I've been trying to find info on what I...

I have an ideal vogue max S18 boiler and I’m considering fitting auto balancing TRVs, my question relates to the boilers pump. I see a boiler pump menu for either 70% or 100%, so, is the pump set at either one of two fixed speed percentages or does the pump actually vary speed, (modulate)...
