Have a couple of rads that will get covers, so to have the trv outside the cover I bought a couple of extended rad tails, 100mm. Now they are parallel threads, is this common with all extended rad tails all I can see are parallel threads or can one buy tapered ones? If one can only get parallel threads I am back to ptfe tape on these two as opposed to my 577.

Pretty sure 577 will cure on either. Let us know how you get on. Only saw the 577 light recently
I am getting the impression these days that manufacturing tolerances are not the greatest. I have just used 2 pegler terrier tails this morning one fits fine other is somewhat 'looser'. I did swap them and is problem with the tail. Boss white and hemp maybe still has a place. If I am not happy with just the 577 will give it a couple of turns of 55 in addition.

Been doing rads all week. 577 is the mutts nutts for tails. I can't believe i ever used anything else. On my 3rd pot now 👍👍
